Too pretty to eat!!

I just had to share this next Etsy find with you!! I think my jaw just about hit the floor when I saw the sweetest cake bunting (yes, cake bunting) on the front page of Etsy a few days back! I instantly fell in love with these wee flag banners and how they make a simple cake oh-so very pretty (smile).

You can find these darling little creations at Kiki La Ru here on Etsy. I adore all of the designs....each with their "shabby feel" and made with upcycled and vintage fabrics.

 

And now I really want to have a Halloween party just so I have an excuse to bake a cake and order Kiki La Ru's "Wednesday" Cake Bunting (grin)!!

This first set of photos are showing some of the new Bella Headbands. Super-soft flower attached to a hair clip with an interchangeable shimmer elastic headband.

*Love how you can switch things up and wear the flower clips all on their own!

Here are some beautiful photos showing the new Lyla Headband. A soft and pretty mocha flower on a dark tan headband.  The wide lace headband is gorgeous....love the vintage feel of the Lyla headbands. And this one is the perfect accessory for Fall!

{Claira & Bella Headbands} Professional Photos

My original Claira headband has been discontinued, but I loved the name so much, that I will be using it for the new gals in town(grin)!

The *new* Claira is a darling flower that is feminine, pretty, and oh-so soft. Finished with a pearl centre and attached to a partially-lined hair clip (allowing you to switch things up when you want)! Flowers will come on a soft and stretchy nylon band, but other options will be available as well (ie. with crochet beanie).

Headbands will be posted in my shop soon, but here's a peek at what these pretty little flowers look like! A huge thank you goes out to Rebecca Cooper for taking these photos! Lovely. lovely.

The flowers shown in photos are vanilla and olive. The other options that will be available in my Etsy shop will be soft pink, mocha, and dark red! Will also be made available as Bella headbands on a shimmer elastic headband! Really hoping to have the new headbands posted within the next couple of weeks!

laken & lila Giveaway

I came across laken & lila while searching for a sweet summer dress for my daughter's birthday. Lucky ducky for me, I found exactly what I had in mind....a yellow floral print sundress with a bit of country-cottage feel to it. Here's a couple photos of my girlie wearing her laken & lila dress.

The day was a bit warm for leggings, however they're my little trick to get my daughter to wear skirts and dresses! She doesn't seem to notice the feel against her legs I guess...she's quite the tomboy already! And if you're wondering if she wears all of my Shabby Lane hair accessories....the answer is no (whaa)!!

We also got to try out a skirt from laken & lila to review. Here's some photos of a skirt-in-action (heehee).

Cute right?! Such a great skirt for everyday wear (including toddler play out in the yard)!!
