Dilly Baby Giveaway

When I was pregnant with my second babe, while I was searching for who knows what (grin), I came across the sweetest Etsy shop called Dilly Baby! I was immediately drawn in by all the wonderful fabrics. A variety of modern to classic, girly and boyish, there was so many great designs! My order started with one of these.

A crayon case set in an adorable girly Amy Butler print! Perfect for pulling out at a restaurant during our trips into the city.
p.s. crayons and pad of paper included!

Next I found these.
The changing set-diaper wristlet. I already had one for myself, but they are so darn handy when you don't need to haul your diaper bag with ya, so I grabbed a couple as baby gifts! The wristlet changing set comes with a light and compact change mat too! And you also get a wipes case and a couple of diapers in there (sweet)!

And to complete the baby gifts I was purchasing, I had to throw in a couple of these!! I'm a big fan of baby sensory toys that have lots of taggies and pops of colour! Love it!
Aimee is the clever and talented lady behind Dilly Baby (also a busy mama of two)! She has recently added to her collection of goodies.....check out these super-cute and handy toy storage bags!

The bags are 100% cotton and fully lined. Very roomy for your little one's toys, books, and any other treasures they want to put in there!

Aimee has generously offered a toy bag of your choice to one lucky reader!!
To be entered into the giveaway, head over to the Dilly Baby shop here and come back to leave a comment saying what your must-have Dilly Baby item is (yep, that easy!).

Photo Session with the Cousins

Last month during our visit back home, we got all the cousins together for a photo session at Grandma's! Fun right?! Hehee. Leave it to my Sydney to start the morning off with lots of tears and dirty looks...wasn't until later that we realized she was cutting 3 teeth at once (ouch)!

But through it all (tears, sleeping babies, grumpy toddlers, and ice cream bribes), our friend and photographer, Angie Higa was able to get some great shots! Check out our sneek peak on Angie's blog here (scroll down to blog post from June 7th).

Here's a photo Angie convinced me to take (so happy she did)!  This little man makes my heart smile. love. love.

Thanks again Angie. Can't wait to see the rest...we know they will be wonderful!

{feeling crafty} Shabby Flag Banner

So whenever my mama comes up to visit, I usually have a list of projects waiting (grin)! Most of these projects involve sewing. why? because as much as I would love to. want to. need to. be good at sewing, I just can't find the time to sit my butt down and try to get somewhat good at it! Thank goodness my mom has a lot of patience...because she always lets me do some "trying" each time she's here (hehee)!

Today's project was making up a couple of shabby flag banners! I had a whole pile of fabric scraps that we cut up, pinned, and sewed together...an easy peasy project...perfect for the likes of me (smile)!

Cute right?! Perfect for a birthday party, baby shower, or so sweet hanging in a bedroom or play area! And I always think that it's a good thing I like the "shabby look", because all of my little flaws...they just add to the whole appeal (wink)!

A Shabby Lane Photoshoot!

The following images are courtesy of Rebecca Cooper Photography.

Rebecca had a Shabby Lane photoshoot and found the sweetest little models to wear some of my hair accessories. Enjoy!

Aren't they just the sweetest?! (sigh).

The hair accessories that were used in the photoshoot are the Bella-pink flower hair clip, the Stella-creamy white flower hair clip, and the Stella Headband-small vintage pink flower on a skinny beige elastic headband. Most of the flowers come mounted on a partially-lined hair clip, which allows you to interchange them with headbands and hats, or wear them on their own! Options. options (grin).

Take a peek at what's available in my Etsy shop here.
Thank you Rebecca! Her link here.
