{Claira & Stella Headbands} Professional Photos

Have a peek at these beautiful photos sent to me by Tisha Johnson of Intrigue Photography

First two photos are showing the Stella headband in pale blue satin and cream lace. This flower looks great with the ivory or dark brown nylon headband. Flowers come attached to a partially-lined clip, so you can pair it with your other interchangeable headbands, hats, wear the flower by itself in your hair, or even clip it onto a necklace or purse (yes, the flower is that classy!!).

The next couple of photos are the dainty Stella headband in muted purple and cream lace. Flower is attached directly to a skinny ivory headband. These headbands are custom made to fit any age!

And the rest of these sweet photos are showing the Claira headband in olive, matched with an ivory and a dark brown nylon headband. Flower attached to a partially-lined clip.

Michael Mooo Design Giveaway

It's that time of year when it seems like my life is go.go.go. And a big part of all this "going" is numerous trips to here, there, and everywhere. Let's just say that most days it feels like I live at the grocery store and our local Walmart (sigh).

So I'm not a big fan of public shopping carts and all the little germie friends that come with (yuck!)!! Did you know the influenza virus can live on hard surfaces for 24-48 hours (just throwing a bit of nursing knowledge out there! heehee)??!! And what do our kidlets like doing best? Touch this, touch that, put the fingers in the mouth, back to the cart, .....blehh.

Thank goodness for shopping cart covers!!! Especially the nice big ones that help keep bums warm & comfy on a frosty cart from the parking lot!! I was able to find a great cover from Michael Mooo Design on Etsy! Not only is it totally trendy with it's chocolate brown and teal damask....but the fabric is high quality and is sure to hold up to the wear & tear of my little shopping sidekicks (grin)!

Rachel was so easy to chat with on Etsy and welcomed my request to create a double shopping cart cover. This gives me the option to have both my kids on the cart seat together when we're using the bigger wholesale shopping carts! Perfect for those who have twins too!

Have a peek over at Michael Mooo Design here. Come back to leave a comment with your fave shopping cart cover design (my other fave was the limbs and leaves). One person will be winning a $25 gift certificate to use in Rachel's Etsy shop (thank you Rachel)!! Just in time for the holidays too! What a great gift for those with little ones (or even for grandma & grandpa to throw in their car!).

2. Share today's giveaway on twitter- leave a comment.
3. Become a follower of the Shabby Lane blog (right hand column)- leave a comment.

Zebra Duck Design Giveaway

As I mentioned in a previous post, we kept the kids' Halloween costumes pretty simple this year! Most of the items we already had (nice!). But a couple of items were found on Etsy (where else?!!).

I was thrilled when I found a shop on Etsy that sold suspenders for babies!! As soon as I knew we would be dressing the kids "punk", I started envisioning my little guy in a set of suspenders!

Zebra Duck Design is all about the suspenders!! Babies, toddlers, boys, girls, holidays....they have em'! Krista is a mom of three who pretty much "lives" at the fabric store, and works her majic at night while the kiddos are sleeping (sounds oddly familiar!).

I just love how you can wear the suspenders for a dressy occasion (Krista also makes some adorable bow ties!) or just for everyday wear, worn over a plain ol' tee!

Take a look over at Zebra Duck Design here! Come back to leave a comment with your fave suspenders and you will be entered to win them!! Thanks so much Krista. I'm fond of the Madras Plaid and could totally see my little girlie in them!

Here's how to earn extra entries:
1. Share today's giveaway on facebook- leave a comment.
2. Share today's giveaway on twitter- leave a comment.
3. Follow the Shabby Lane blog (right hand column)- leave a comment that you are now a follower!

Giveaway ends Thursday, November 11th at 10pm MST. Winner will be randomly selected.

p.s. you can find that sweet tie onesie Mr. H is wearing in the photo here!
